Campervanning Northern Portgual

Flying into Lisbon, Amelia and I rented a campervan for a week and explored the North of Portugal, from beaches, to hills, and into Port producing valleys. Our van was a converted Mercedes Vito, hired from Indie Campers for a pretty reasonable price, would definitely use them again.

There is a lot to do in Portugal. There are so many options for exploring windy back roads so its an ideal destination for campervanning (although some roads are quite narrow, as we found out), and motorbike trips. Finding a quiet camping spot with a view every night was actually really easy, especially with the help of google maps satellite images.
